Sassafras Serving Bowl

This bowl is 10″ diameter and 4.25″ deep. It was turned from a Sassafras log which had set out in the weather for more than eight years. It would work well for displaying fruit, serving salad for a small family or as a pure decoration. The wood was left over after finishing four commissioned bowls for the original owner of the logs.
