Large Spalted Natural Edge Box Elder Bowl

This large natural edge bowl was turned from a crotch section of Spalted Box Elder which was salvaged from Cookeville, Tennessee. It measures 14.5″ diameter and 5.5″ tall. My friend from college days was helping his son remove this tree which the electric company required be cut down for overhead lines to be run to a new tiny home. He transported numerous chunks to my shop and this is one of the last remaining sections.
